Privacy notice
This notice describes how Mkweli handles information when you use our product websites and mobile applications. Last updated: October 2026.
Who we are
Mkweli is a product studio based in Grand Baie, Mauritius. Contact for privacy and support: support@mkweli.tech.
Websites
Our marketing sites (including mkweli.tech and product subdomains) are static pages. We do not run advertising trackers by default. If you email us, we use your address only to respond to your enquiry.
Server or CDN providers (for example GitHub Pages or similar hosts) may process standard technical logs such as IP address, user agent, and request time for security and reliability.
The mkweli.tech home page and the Mkweli tool sites (aml, honesty, pfw, lakazagri and assimilate-pro.mkweli.tech) show a small visit counter at the bottom. Each site has its own total. To count a visit, your browser sends one request to Abacus (abacus.jasoncameron.dev), a free counter service. It adds 1 to a single total and stores nothing else: no cookies, no account, and no personal profile. Like any web server, Abacus may see your IP address when the request arrives. Your browser remembers for that tab only that the visit was already counted, so reloading the page does not count it twice.
Products
Several Mkweli products are designed to work offline or with minimal data:
- Mkweli AML: sanctions lists can be processed on-device; we do not require cloud accounts for core screening in the free pilot APK.
- LakazAgri: availability and demand posts you create are for coordination; treat pilot data as non-sensitive and avoid posting personal data you would not share with a buyer or farmer.
- Assimilate Pro: guide content is local where possible; progress may be stored on your device.
- Village Grid: a browser civic game at honesty.mkweli.tech; scores and round progress stay on your device. No account is required.
Product-specific privacy details may appear in each app or on its product site. Where they conflict with this page for that product, the product notice takes precedence for that product.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use your pilot enquiries for third-party advertising lists.
